BMJ Military Health

A paper on the Museum of Military Medicine’s plans for a new museum and medical innovation hub has just been published in the journal BMJ Military Health 167, No. 1 (February 2021).

A copy of the full text of the Editorial can be found here: jramc-2019-001305.full.

The paper describes the reasons behind the museum’s plans to relocate and its search for a suitable location that meets its requirements of access, educational partnerships and cultural appeal. The museum plans to transition from a supported regimental collection to a sustainable cultural enterprise by developing a range of revenue streams and opportunities for engagement. Cardiff Council’s ambitious and innovative plans for the Bay area complement our own vision for transformation.
